What I’m Reading
* Louise Hay: “You Can Heal Your Life”
Select Quotes:
“I now choose calmly and objectively to see my old patterns, and I am willing to make changes.”
“Thoughts no longer have any power over me. I am the power in the world. I choose to be free”
“The past has no power over me because I am willing to learn and to change. I see the past as necessary to bring me to where I am today.”
* Deepak Chopra: “The Book of Secrets”
Select Quotes:
“I have no need to control anyone or anything: I can affect change by transforming the only thing I ever had control over in the first place, which is myself.”
* Acharya S aka: D. M. Murdock: The Christ Conspiracy and Suns of God
From her extensive collection of articles online you might want to check out The Origins of Christianity and the Quest for the Historical Jesus:
Delving deeply into this large body of work, one uncovers evidence that the Jesus character is based upon much older myths and heroes from around the globe. One discovers that this story is not, therefore, a historical representation of a Jewish rebel carpenter who had physical incarnation in the Levant 2,000 years ago.
A note of caution here: Acharya’s positions might prove to be disturbing to many. For me her thoughts were liberating. If you are bold enough to consider really following a line of thought in search of truth wherever it may lead, her work might be addictive and hold your attention and time for untold hours. She has been exceptionally generous with her articles online.
